HI Reader, I’m writing this note in my “forest office,” a spot by the creek while my kiddos are at summer camp. This is no ordinary creek though: it’s my ancestral creek. In the 1660s, my grandfather- to-the-12th power Thomas Dungan immigrated to the American colonies with his family. They were fleeing England, where Baptists were harshly persecuted and not allowed to even freely gather. After Thomas trained as a minister in Rhode Island, he relocated to the colony of Pennsylvania, attracted to William Penn's principles of religious freedom and tolerance. And on the shores of this same creek where I am sitting right now, Rev. Dungan's daughter was married and baptized in 1692. Just sitting here, listening to the waters as they glide over the stones, I feel supported and nourished by this creek where, just a few miles upstream, my direct ancestors were married, spiritually renewed, and lived out their lives. And I am fortified knowing my ancestors, who were misunderstood and taunted for their spiritual beliefs, had the inner strength to build community for their people where they could live in peace. As a dreamer, you may understand what it feels like to be alone. There's a lot of that energy going around these days. You are likely the only one in your family and friend circle who is interested in attending to dreams, visions, and altered states of consciousness for healing and self-knowledge. You have probably been greeted with polite nods when you share your dreams, only to hear the reply, “Weird… anyways….have you seen the latest episode of Sirens?” You may be trying to work with your repetitive dreams, but have trouble making sense of what they are warning you about. Or perhaps you are trying to increase your lucid dreaming powers so you can ask questions and receive guidance from the creative dreaming mind. This is why I built the Dream Portal: For dreamer like you, hungry for community, yearning for nourishment by folks who get it, that our dreams offer so much more than “weird” comments from our normie colleagues and family. In the Dream Portal, we are supported by our love for the spirituality of the dark, for the quiet wisdom that comes in sleep and through our intuitive capacities. We share dreams, work with renown dream teachers, and share wins and frustrations along the path. Membership is more accessible than everI’m excited to announce that the Dream Portal is now more accessible than ever. We have opened up our community to a monthly level, less than the cost of a HBO Max subscription. Why left Hollywood dream for you when your own dreams are calling you to something greater? And of course, I lead live sessions too on Dreaming Foundations and regular office hours I call the Lucid Check in. My own work, as you probably know, is centered around interfaith spirituality, nature mysticism, and lucid dreaming. Hi Reader, If you are getting on the road for Thanksgiving like 82 million other Americans, you might appreciate this talk on how how harvest feasts invite big dreams.... especially grown-up slumber parties involving carb loading and alcohol. In fact, it's relevant for my friends across the pond too because we are entering into the harvest feast cycle that comes with the end of the year. These are often complicated holidays made more complicated by stress, travel and -- I'll just say it outl...

Hi Reader Ever had a dream that changed the way you see the world? A dream that refuses to be rationally debunked, put on a shelf and forgotten? A few years ago, I dreamed that I was in the attic of my house, and a pipe burst in the wall. The water was flowing out like a faucet. In the dream, I went downstairs to look for help, and on my way down, ran into my brother-in-law. That same morning, my brother-in-law (who at that time shared a house with my wife and I) told me over coffee he had...
